In this study presented the structural properties of zinc borate sample prepared by different precursors was comparatively investigated. The structural properties of the product was characterized by PXRD, FT-IR, UV-VIS-NIR, SEM methods and thermal stabilities were analyzed by TGA/DTA technique. High purity zinc borate was obtained from zinc sulfate and boric acid precursors by classical solid state synthesis method. According to ICDD data base, product zinc borate determined in monoclinic structure of Zn3B2O6.
